In the event that Maharashtra Desha Adventure cancels the trip due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

1. Lockdowns
2. Natural calamities (snowstorms, thunderstorms, floods, landslides, earthquakes, severe weather conditions)
3. Political unrest
4. Terrorist activities
5. Curfews
6. Riots
7. Government orders or restrictions

A refund will be processed within 30 days from the date of cancellation.

Date Change Request

• If a participant wishes to change their trip date, Maharashtra Desha Adventure reserves the right to approve or reject the request based on availability.
• Date change requests must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the original departure date.

Booking Amount 

• The booking amount is strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.

Refund Processing

• Eligible refunds will be processed within 7 to 14 working days from the date of cancellation approval.
• Refunds will be calculated based on the total trip cost, irrespective of whether the payment was made partially or in full.

Client Cancellation Policy

The cancellation policy below is applicable only to guests who have paid the full trip amount. In all cases, the non-refundable booking amount will be deducted first, and the refund percentage will be calculated on the remaining amount.

​Examples:

1. If only the booking amount has been paid and the booking is cancelled, no refund will be provided.
2. If the full trip amount has been paid, the booking amount will first be deducted, and the applicable refund percentage will then be calculated on the remaining balance.

Important Notes

• No refund will be applicable on the non-refundable booking amount.
• Any cancellation charges incurred from third-party vendors such as railways, airlines, hotels, transport operators, activity providers, or government fees will be deducted from the refund amount wherever applicable.
• No refund shall be provided for unused services, missed activities, late arrivals, early departures, or voluntary withdrawal from the trip after commencement.
• Maharashtra Desha Adventure reserves the right to amend this policy without prior notice if required by operational or regulatory circumstances. 

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before booking your trip with Maharashtra Desha Adventure.

1. Trip Schedule & Itinerary

• The itinerary provided is planned for the smooth operation of the trip. The tour leader/manager may make reasonable changes to the sequence, timing, or route depending on traffic, weather, local conditions, attraction timings, or the convenience and safety of participants.
• Sightseeing or activities may be modified, delayed, or cancelled due to weather conditions, natural calamities, government restrictions, local restrictions, road conditions, or other circumstances beyond the company's control.
• In such situations, the company will make reasonable efforts to provide an alternative arrangement wherever practically possible.

2. Vehicle & Transportation

• The company provides transportation as specified in the package inclusions.
• In the unlikely event of vehicle breakdown, mechanical failure, tyre damage, accident, traffic restrictions, or any other transportation-related issue, the company and its team will make every reasonable effort to arrange repairs, replacement vehicles, or alternative transportation as quickly as practically possible.
• Such situations are sometimes beyond human control and may result in delays or changes to the itinerary. Participants are expected to cooperate and make reasonable adjustments to ensure the journey can continue smoothly.
• The company shall not be responsible for additional expenses, delays, or loss of sightseeing resulting from unforeseen vehicle or transportation failures beyond the company's reasonable control.
• No refund or compensation shall be payable for sightseeing missed solely due to such unforeseen circumstances.

3. Unforeseen Circumstances

The company shall not be liable for additional expenses or losses arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Accidents
• Vehicle breakdowns
• Traffic congestion or road closures
• Train delays or cancellations
• Landslides
• Heavy rainfall or extreme weather
• Natural disasters
• Riots, strikes, protests or civil disturbances
• Government restrictions or new regulations
• Medical emergencies
• Any other force majeure circumstances

Where possible, the company will assist participants in finding practical solutions.

4. Government Rules & Regulations

• If the government, local authorities, transport authorities, hotels, or other regulatory bodies introduce new rules, taxes, restrictions, or requirements affecting accommodation or transportation, any applicable additional charges shall be borne by the customer.
• Guests are responsible for complying with all applicable government and local regulations during the trip.

5. Customer Information & Documents

• Customers must provide accurate and complete information at the time of booking.
• A valid photo ID proof for every traveller must be submitted as required for hotel, transport, or other booking purposes.
• Any additional charges, booking issues, cancellation, or other consequences arising from incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information provided by the customer shall be borne by the customer.
• Customers are responsible for carrying their original valid ID proof during the trip wherever required.

6. Group Discipline & Tour Manager

• The tour leader/manager is responsible for coordinating the group and may make reasonable decisions regarding timings, seating, route, and activities for the convenience and safety of all participants.
• Final vehicle seating arrangements may be decided by the tour leader based on operational requirements and group convenience.
• Any participant whose behaviour causes serious disturbance, threatens the safety of others, damages property, or repeatedly violates group rules may be asked to leave the trip.
• In such circumstances, the company will not be responsible for the individual's return transportation or other resulting expenses.

7. Prohibited Activities

• Smoking and consumption of alcohol are strictly prohibited during the trip and inside the vehicle.
• Any illegal activity, possession of prohibited substances, abusive behaviour, harassment, violence, or intentional damage to property will not be tolerated.
• The company reserves the right to take appropriate action against any participant violating these rules.

8. Personal Belongings

• Customers are responsible for their own luggage, valuables, mobile phones, cameras, documents, money, and other personal belongings.
• Maharashtra Desha Adventure shall not be responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings unless caused by the company's proven negligence.

9. Health & Medical Responsibility

• Participants should inform the company in advance about any relevant medical conditions, allergies, dietary requirements, or physical limitations that may affect participation in activities.
• Customers are responsible for their personal medication and medical requirements.
• Any medical expenses incurred during the trip shall be borne by the customer.
• Adventure activities are subject to applicable safety rules, weather conditions, and operator guidelines. Participants must follow instructions given by activity operators and tour leaders.

10. Activities & Sightseeing

• Adventure activities and water sports are subject to weather, sea conditions, government regulations, local authority permissions, and operator availability.
• If an activity is cancelled due to unsafe conditions or circumstances beyond the company's control, the company will try to provide an alternative where feasible.
• Optional activities not included in the package price shall be paid for directly by the customer.

11. Hotel Accommodation

• Hotel rooms are provided according to the package and selected sharing category.
• Standard hotel check-in and check-out timings apply.
• Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and cannot be guaranteed.
• Room allocation may be arranged on a gender-wise sharing basis for triple and quad-sharing bookings.
• Any damage to hotel property caused by a customer shall be paid for by the concerned customer.

12. Payments, Discounts & Pricing

• Package prices are subject to the terms mentioned on the booking page.
• Applicable GST and seasonal surcharges are additional wherever specified.
• Discounts and promotional offers are subject to their respective terms and validity.
• Two or more discounts/offers cannot be combined unless specifically permitted by Maharashtra Desha Adventure.

13. Customer Cooperation

Travel involves factors such as weather, traffic, local conditions, and operational changes that cannot always be predicted. While Maharashtra Desha Adventure will make every reasonable effort to provide the promised experience and resolve issues, participants are expected to cooperate with the tour leader and management when unexpected situations arise.

Our priority during such situations will always be to resolve the issue, maintain safety, and continue the journey as smoothly as possible.

14. Force Majeure

Maharashtra Desha Adventure shall not be held responsible for failure or delay in providing any part of the itinerary caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, government restrictions, civil disturbances, strikes, road closures, transportation failures, epidemics/pandemics, or other force majeure events.

15. Acceptance of Terms

By making a booking or participating in the trip, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to the applicable package inclusions, exclusions, itinerary, payment terms, cancellation policy, and these Terms & Conditions.
