Day 1

Day 1: Arrival – Bagdogra / NJP to Darjeeling

Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station, our representative will receive you and begin the scenic drive towards Gangtok (approx.4 hours). Enjoy the beautiful hill roads, tea gardens, and mountain views on the way.
After reaching Darjeeling, check in to the hotel and relax.
In the evening, enjoy a leisurely walk at Mall Road and explore the local market.
Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 2

Gangtok Sightseeing

  • Train Package Participants (Mumbai / Pune):
    Travelers can board the train from LTT (Lokmanya Tilak Terminus), Thane, or Kalyan as per convenience.

  • Land Package Participants:
    Guests arriving on their own by train can directly join the group at New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Railway Station.

  • Flight Participants:
    Guests arriving by air will be picked up from Bagdogra Airport.

  • Our team representative will assist all participants at the respective pickup points for a smooth transfer to the starting destination.

Cancellation Policy
  • In case of cancellation from the organiser’s end (due to Lockdown, Or any Natural calamities including,snowstorms, thunderstorms, floods, landslides, earthquakes, bad weather or unexpected political unrest, terrorism activity, curfews, riots, or government orders), We will Refund the amount in 30 Days

  • In case a client wishes to change the trek date, Maharashtra Desha Adventure reserves the right to do so, provided the request is made 30 days prior to the initial departure date.
  • Booking amount is Non-Refundable (in any case) .
  • Refunds will be made within 7-14 working days from the date of cancellation 
  • The refund amount will be calculated from the total fee, in case any partial payment has been made
  • No refund is applicable on cancellation if Advance Amount is Paid to Book the Trek. Cancellation charges are based on the total trek fee, irrespective of the amount paid either full or partial. 
  • If the cancellation is from the client’s end at any point of time post the registration refund will be provided as per the details mentioned below (Only Applicable on fully paid amount) :- 
  1. Cancellation made 45 days before the trek/ Trip - 75% refund
  2. Cancellation made between 29 days and 15 days before the trek- 25% cash refund
  3. Cancellation made between 14 days and 1 day before the trek– No Refund,
  4. If the Cancellation is made on the Starting day of the trek or there is no Show on the start day of trek, there will be No Refund

  • Any discrepancies during the tour are the sole responsibility of the customer(s).
  • Customers must provide accurate and complete travel information, and any resulting consequences or additional charges will be borne by the customer.

March to June and October to December are the best seasons for clear views and pleasant weather. Snow at Nathula is usually possible in winter months.

If Nathula remains closed, alternative sightseeing near Tsomgo Lake will be arranged. Nathula is subject to government permission.


11. Are flight and train prices fixed?
Train and flight fares are subject to availability. Final cost will be confirmed at the time of booking.


12. Is the Toy Train included?
Toy Train ride in Darjeeling is optional and can be booked at an additional cost.


13. Is mobile network available?
Networks like Jio, Airtel, and BSNL work in most areas, but connectivity may be limited in high-altitude regions.


14. How much luggage should I carry?
One medium bag and one small backpack per person is recommended due to limited vehicle space.
